Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing

Clinical Nutrition Research (CNR) adheres to Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (ver. 4, published September 15, 2022; https://doaj.org/apply/transparency) developed by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME). Journal Content

1. Name of journal

The official journal title is Clinical Nutrition Research (abbreviated as Clin Nutr Res or CNR).

The official website of our journal is https://e-cnr.org/. The CNR team endeavors to make a high-quality website with accurate information and adherence to ethical and professional standards. It does not contain any misleading information, including any attempts to mimic other journal/publisher websites. Information for authors and readers is described in detail on the journal website. 3. Publishing schedule

CNR is published quarterly on the last day of January, April, July, and October. Additional supplementary or special issues may also be published.

CNR ensures the electronic backup and long-term preservation of its journal content through several permanent archives. The full text of CNR is archived in PubMed Central (PMC; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nlmcatalog/101592483/; available from Vol. 1(1), 2012). Copyright to all published materials is owned by the Korean Society of Clinical Nutrition. Every author should sign and submit the copyright transfer agreement forms. Copyright information is indicated on all published papers (HTML and PDF) and on the website.

CNR is an open access journal distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. To use the tables or figures of CNR in other journals, books, or media for scholarly, educational purposes, the process of permission request to the publisher of CNR is not necessary. All contents of the journal are available immediately upon publication without embargo period. Licensing information is indicated on all published papers (HTML and PDF) and on the CNR website.

7. Publication ethics and related editorial policies

CNR adheres to the guideline of COPE (https://publicationethics.org), Recommendations of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (https://www.icmje.org/recommendations).

In case the journal faces suspected cases of research and publication misconduct, such as redundant (duplicate) publication, plagiarism, fraudulent or fabricated data, changes in authorship, an undisclosed conflict of interest, ethical problems with a submitted manuscript, a reviewer who has appropriated an author’s idea or data, complaints against editors, and so on, the resolution process will follow the flowchart provided by COPE (https://publicationethics.org/resources/flowcharts). The discussion and decision on the suspected cases are carried out by the Editorial Board.
